Penny Warner qualified as a Registered Nurse and Registered Sick Children’s Nurse in Sheffield in 1988 before moving to South Lincolnshire. She has spent time in paediatrics, A & E and out-patients before moving into Primary Care. Penny has worked as a Specialist Practice Nurse and has gained an ENB 928 in Diabetes Care, NRTC Diplomas in Asthma and COPD, RCN Diploma in Sexual Health and Post Graduate Certificate in Medical and Healthcare Education. She has also now gained NMC registered teacher status and completed her Postgraduate Diploma in Medical and Healthcare Education. Penny has been teaching Primary Care Nurses for the past six years and has a particular interest in immunisation, travel health and ear irrigation, enjoying the more practical elements of teaching.
